Welcome to the North Yorkshire School Sport website. The site is designed to showcase all the fantastic achievements of our 83,000 school children in a range of different sports at various levels of school sport. Five dedicated Competition Managers are in post to support quality delivery and development, providing extra school sport to give all pupils the opportunity to take part and maximise their potential.
We are extremely fortunate in North Yorkshire to have such a wide and diverse range of individuals who have ensured that many of our pupils have already experienced high quality competitive sport. Whether this has been through the tireless

work of voluntary organisations such as North Yorkshire School Sport Association, the hundreds of local clubs, Local Authority Sports Development, North Yorkshire Sport, National Governing Bodies of Sport or the School Sports Partnerships, the County has a rich tradition of school sport of which we are rightly proud.
Enjoy the site and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
